Connect help Birmingham Airport strengthen their position as the international gateway for the Midlands

Birmingham Airport has won the Routes Europe 2017 Marketing Awards.

The Awards, highly regarded as the most prestigious awards in the industry, recognise outstanding marketing services delivered throughout the year.

Connect has been Birmingham Airport’s creative and digital marketing partner for over 10 years; a collaboration that has consistently generated award-winning campaigns. The partnership began when Connect were awarded the contract to develop a new brand proposition, ‘Hello World’, a brand that is still at the heart of the marketing strategy today.

“I’m delighted for the team receiving this accolade which has recognised our airline marketing campaigns over the last year. The team have explored innovative new ways to engage with global audiences through both traditional and new marketing channels and they should feel very proud of this achievement, as I do.”

Over the last 12 months, Connect has worked with Birmingham Airport on a wide range of marketing activity including the development of the launch campaign for two new routes, Prague and Madrid.

Connect has also developed the ‘Welcome BAck’ social campaign that sees the return of British Airways, and flights to Malaga, Palma, Florence and Ibiza, to the airport at the end of May.
